Institutional and administrative activities are concentrated at the FORMIT headquarters. The Presidency and the governing bodies represent the main interface with the stakeholders and partners who relate to the Foundation. The offices located in Rome support the work groups operating  in the different activities and projects with strategic and management functions.

The Rome office hosts the Research and Innovation area, which represents the connection between the results of the analyses conducted by researchers and the concrete experiences realised in the projects activities, and the Strategy and Technologies area, which provides  strategic support and consultancy for Public Administrations in the organisational, technological and security fields.
