The DOMINO project was launched under the European Commission's program "Prevention, Preparedness and Consequence Management of Terrorism and other Security related risks". DOMINO aims at studying and quantifying the consequences of unexpected and blocking failure and at developing a model of failure events propagation to economic and social infrastructure operating in our society.

Main outputs of DOMINO project are a methodology and a software tool for domino effect prevision and consequences calculation in terms of Cross Cutting Criteria due to potential Critical Infrastructure (CI) failures.
