VIEWER project is developing a comparative analysis on software for video intelligence (SW4VI) in the field of public places and critical infrastructure protection, specifically with regard to video surveillance-software that allows to broaden the knowledge base of the possible stakeholders involved of different fields of security services. Through the different evaluation activities foreseen, VIEWER project will provide the identification of best practices and the formalization of recommendations to achieve a common basic knowledge for further common development and technology research.
