A.S.I.S Project - System Actions for Social Inclusion of subjects in criminal enforcement

The Department for Penitentiary Administration through the A.S.I.S. project - System Action for Social Inclusion of subjects in criminal enforcement - (co-financed by European Social Fund within the P.O.N. – National Operative Program “Safety for the development of Southern Italy”) aims at strengthening the social economic relationship among the stakeholder involved in combating against crime.
Moreover, it is focused on planning measures to counter social exclusion in order to reintegrate subjects in criminal enforcement.

The project foresees the realization of integrated training for managers and directive personnel of Penitentiary Administration, Penitential Policy, Government Local Offices, Third Sector associations of the Regions included in the former Objective I of the last EU planning.
16 training courses will be carried out in all the former Objective I regions (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardegna, Sicilia) throughout April and May 2009. Each course will last 5 days, for a total of 36 hours of technical and specialized training.

Following the list of the courses contents:
  1. Politics of social inclusion. Legislative sources, organization and planning criteria for interventions and social inclusion services;
  2. Integrated strategy and web working tool. Planning skills and elements for web working. Interaction among Penitentiary Administration, Government Local Offices, Regions Administrations, Local Institution, Third Sector, Employment Services: the experience of the “Plan of Zone”;
  3. European, national and regional funding sources for the social inclusion of subjects in criminal enforcement.
